Knowledge Empowers

Join us in 2019 for the following discussions and presentations! Check back as other presentations are scheduled.

Legislative Review
Understanding the Bills up for Vote in the Legislative Session

First Review - Thursday January 17, 2019, 7 p.m.
South Jordan Library - 10673 S Redwood Rd, South Jordan, UT 84095

Second Review - Tuesday February 12, 2019, 7 p.m.
Hunter Library - 4740 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120
Did you know? Utah voter participation is very low during the legislative session, and representatives often highly value feedback or direction from constituents who are involved.

Your voice during this time can significantly affect important matters, especially when coupled with knowledge of the actual bills and issues.

Please join us to learn about the bills and issues and how to contact and work with representatives. This is a great opportunity to become involved, as there is so much more to being politically active than just voting. You can get a shareable flyer here.

Agenda
• 7:00-7:10 Prayer & attendee introductions.
• 7:10-7:15 Discussion format and rules.
• 7:15-8:30 Review of proposed legislation.
• 8:30-8:45 Contacting legislators.
