The constitutional curriculum below was designed to aid families and small groups, particularly those including children, in discussing topics relevant to the Constitution. There are 20 different main segments, with short introductions, examples, and thoughts to consider in each segment. The examples and thoughts are meant to guide discussion on the issues present in or addressed by the Constitution. Ultimately, it is important for each person to weigh the issues and decide how they feel on these issues. The segments are designed to aid in conversation on certain issues, but leave the final resolution of the issues open to the participants and encourage further research on the issues. Parents could encourage children to write a research essay on why they feel one way is better than another, or allow children to present both sides, as if they were advocating like a Presidential candidate would in a debate.
